Planet Conquest

“Planet Conquest” is the only “official war” in StarMC. In contrast to Towny’s peaceful Earth, here everything is up for grabs.

Conquest Flow

  1. Check Schedule: Check the event schedule via in-lobby NPCs or the official site/Discord.
  2. Deploy: Board the shuttle at the event time and descend to the target planet.
  3. Combat: Compete for points by capturing bases and eliminating enemies within the time limit (1 hour).

Scoring System

Victory is determined by “total points” earned. There is no cap on earnable points.

  • Object (Base) Capture: By securing specific areas (bounding boxes) called “Objects” within the planet, points are continuously added.
    • Capture Condition: If only your organization’s members are in the area, points are earned every second. While even one enemy organization player is in the area, no points are added.
    • Fixed Points: The number of people in the area does not increase points per second (e.g., capturing with 10 people gives the same points as 1 person).
  • Player Kills: Earn points by defeating enemy players.
  • Late-Game Multiplier System: As time passes, multipliers are applied to earned points, creating exciting comeback opportunities.

Eligibility and Organization Priority

  • Organization Participation: You must belong to a Town or Nation.
  • Priority: If you belong to a “Nation,” you participate as a “Nation”; if only a “Town,” you participate as a “Town.”
  • Alliance Invalidation: Towny alliance settings do not apply during Conquest. Everyone except your organization is an enemy, so watch for friendly fire.
  • Individual Players: You can participate and earn kill points, but cannot contribute to organization scores, and will only be listed in “Individual Rankings.”

Rankings and Records

StarMC’s official site plans to publish Conquest records in real-time.

  • Organization Rankings: The strongest towns and nations are ranked based on captured bases and earned scores.
  • Individual Rankings: Individual player achievements like K/D ratio and base defense time are visualized.

Rewards and Death Penalties

  • Capture Rewards (Immediate): Precious items are awarded to the winning organization.
  • Continuous Rewards: Rewards are continuously paid to the organization until the next Conquest.
  • [Limited Time] Beta Benefits: Players and organizations that achieve #1 in various rankings during the beta period may be awarded special titles and limited rewards.
  • Death Penalty: No item loss. You can enjoy full-power PvP with your prized equipment without worrying about losing it (however, being killed gives points to the enemy).
